I had an emergency surgery on my knee taking me out of work for months on March 1st UNFORTUNATELY my companies disability goes through careworksMeaning there’s a ton of extra paperwork that needs to be filled out in order for me to get my disability payMy doctors office employee that used to handle all of that quit right before sending my paperwork in(or so they told me) andmy paperwork was sent in “late.” I am now going on almost an ENTIRE MONTH with NO PAY! I called them this morning 3/26/and they told me because my paperwork was late it has to be reviewed by a nurse, then by the legal team, and is in appeal status because they denied it Due to late paperworkThe appeal process takes up to days! And there is nothing that can be done about thisI have daughters aged and under that I cannot feed right now because of this company! I LITERALLY DO NOT have money to buy toilet paper right now and this company is taking their sweet time getting my paperwork through the processMy initial rep Leighann J [redacted] ignored so many of my calls I got sent to a supervisor Alysha and she keeps wanting to refer me to my denial letter that was sent telling me daysThis company is terrible!!! I’m not sure why any company that actually gives any care for its associates would go through Careworks!

Good morning every one ..I would like to advise you that if your company uses CAREWORKS FMLA company run and hideThe Staff is Rude and unprossional, the customer care department will hang up on youI had a FMLA case that expired04/03/I called on 03/017/@9:45am - to start the recertification process so there you would not have a gap in the FMLAwell yes ---i am STILL waiting for approval / determination to be madeThe casworker assigned to my case / claim waited until 04/01/to Mail me a medical recertification form that should have been sent to the provider office I ended up bringing the form to my doctor ..which is very kind and understandingThe form was faxed and recived on 04/07/@8:amMy case still says (pending medical clairification..)
NOW I am being told that they have - business days to come up with a dertiminationThis is completly un- professional --would NEVER refere them to m y WORST ENEMY
