Quality, integrity, and honest communication are NOT their strong suits. The house was built in 2011, it's 2878 square feet, and should have two A/C units due to its size as well as the fact that it has two thermostats (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). The house only has one A/C unit and it's too small to cool the house. Carefree refuses to fix the problem. They claim the A/C unit is energy efficient and only needs to cool the house to 78 degrees per EPA guidelines. That's a outright LIE as those mythical guidelines do not exist.

To add insult to injury, a house on the same street, built the same year, and only 2649 square feet has two A/C units. Carefree has no explanation for this difference. They deny they made a mistake putting in just one A/C unit and will not fix it.

Bottom line: Don't buy from Carefree unless you want to live in an easy bake oven.
