well as several additional repairs that had been made. Mr. [redacted], interested in the vehicle decided to take it for a test drive on which I accompanied him. At this point he encountered an issue in which the vehicle would take a prolonged amount of time to shift into the next gear, but after the first shift all further gear changes occurred at a normal rate. I let Mr. [redacted] know that this is issue was likely due to a faulty shift module or overdrive switch. I informed Mr. [redacted] that at its current price I was selling the vehicle as-is. He found this acceptable and said that he would take care of any additional repairs on his own. While the transaction was taking place we installed a new battery. Mr [redacted] was satisfied with purchasing the vehicle for $2,000.[redacted] mentioned that a wheel had come loose. It is common for lug nuts loosen when used in conjunction with aluminum wheels on SUVs and other 4 wheel drive vehicles. I am also unaware if [redacted] had at any point removed the wheel after purchasing the vehicle or had properly tightened the lug nuts after placing it back on.Approximately two weeks ago I had witnessed Mr. [redacted] driving the vehicle with seemingly no issue. [redacted]’s act of naming me a thief is unwarranted and unappreciated. I gave Steve a very good deal on the vehicle.Sincerely,Grindstone Auto Sales
