Review: I was first contacted by [redacted] in December of 2014. In November of 2015, almost one year later, I was contacted again about purchasing savannah kittens. After communicating with the owner for two weeks, she requested that I send money to her husband [redacted] account [[redacted] She requested $600. She claimed her home address was [redacted]. She claimed that the money would be used for a pet delivery agency [redacted].
Before sending the payment, I looked into the website she was using for the delivery agency. I could not find it anywhere on the internet, besides in the link she sent to me. When I tried opening it on my work email, it was marked as junk and became a threat to my computer. In the link, she specifically says to use [redacted] or Western Union and to not specify that the payment is for pet delivery, and, instead, to say that I am transferring money to a relative. This was, obviously, a red flag. She used three telephone numbers with me [redacted]
She sent me pictures of herself and many pictures of the “babies” when I asked her to send a picture of her with the kittens and todays newspaper, she responded saying, “ That’s very wrong, if you are thinking that I just want to take your money for nothing then that’s very wrong and sounds so absurd when I know who people work hard to earn their money. I will never thing of taking some kinda advantage over you and please take that out of your mind that is an awful thing to think about. I will like you to know one thing, I am a God Fearing Woman and I so much believe in the words of bible and his words and I wouldn’t do such a thing when I have blood running through my vain”
I asked her, again, for a picture of her with the kitten and todays newspaper. She sent me pictures of a woman that looked nothing like her. I sent her the first picture she sent me of “herself” and asked for a picture of her with the kittens. I offered to call the vet, or to contact the “delivery service.” She got increasingly aggravated and stopped responding all together.
I did not end up transferring any money to the user, as it is clearly a scam. I wanted to inform you of this to prevent future scams under this user name and telephone numbers.Desired Settlement: I would like this user to be contacted and told that they will no longer be able to scam others.
