ADVERTISEMENT
An automated call from "Cardmember Services" claiming to offer low credit card rates but with no identifying info. Telephone on the caller ID is 863-777-2311. Reverse lookup and internet search indicates a scammer business located in Lakeland, Florida.
These calls have been going on for FIVE YEARS even though we are on the national "Do Not Call" registry. I have older relatives and am very concerned that these calls will deliberately confuse them. The calls are deliberately misleading. Not to mention a gigantic waste of time.
Today I finally pressed '1' and waited to talk to a live person. I told them to take me off their list and he called me a "[redacted]" and started yelling at me. I hung up.
