Purchased a car in July 2022 for my 16-year-old daughter – Test drove it and the EPC light was on and it wouldn’t accelerate over 40 MPH, my daughter loved the car so much the salesman said he would get the EPC and the accelerator issue, and the oil pan replaced with an oil change. Purchased, after the work was done, brought it home the next day the EPC light came back on, motor was shaking, and oil all over my drive way, called Carboys and they said I would have to speak to the machinic that did the work (before calling the machinic, I took the car to a Mechanic that I trust), and had them look at it and tell me what was wrong with it. Later called car boys mechanic which stated they did indeed fix the cracked oil pan, EPC and Accelerator issues, The guy I spoke with said to bring it back to him so he could look at it, at this point I DID NOT TRUST him nor car boys salesman, so, I had someone else replace and fix everything, they mentioned whom ever did the work on it to sale it (Carboys and their Mechanic) used aftermarket sealant on the cracked oil pan instead of just replacing it, wrong spark plugs, coils, the list goes on and on, and this damn car has costed me an addition 5,500 and the car is only worth 10k. BUYER BEWARE, these people are not trust worthily. I will make sure to tell everyone how dishonest they are and after they sale the car to you they won’t help you with anything else. I even asked Carboys to bring the car back to them the next day and they said that I could not return the car, this goes to show you how dishonest they are. PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM HERE you’ll end up dumping more money into it that wasn’t intended when buying a car.

Sold me a lemon. Would not recommend to anyone, if the price is too good to be true it usually isn't true

On Friday 2/21/2020, I arrived in Salt Lake City, UT to purchase a 2012 Subaru, Outback from Carboys. The salesman, Matt told me it was a one owner car and had no defects, was freshly serviced and found to have no issues mechanically. The Carfax report was provided online and showed the same. Matt, told my husband and myself that we would have a 30 day warranty on the phone before we made plans to fly down to Salt Lake and buy the vehicle. We drove it about 500 miles and the transmission needs a total replacement. We bought it Friday afternoon around 3pm and got it home by 9pm Saturday. I notified Matt on Sunday 2/23/2020 that we thought the transmission was/is out. I paid $70 to have it towed to the Subaru dealer in Great Falls and they now have diagnosed it needing a new transmission for the amount of $7,113.54. I paid Carboys with a cashiers check for $7725.50 plus a deposit of $257.50 with a credit card. I want my money back or the transmission fixed.
