Car Tow Dolly

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I sent an email to question why I received no instructions with the unit. In return I received an expletive laced response from the owner. He called me an it, and insisted I received an email with explicit instructions on assembly and safe use. I did not receive the email nor was it any spam box as he insisted. They require you to use an "echeck" through them which requires you to give them a checking account number and routing number. They charge a 3.5% premium if you want to use a credit card. The dolly seems to be of adequate quality but the OWNER is the most vile business man I have EVER dealt with. Little wonder they don't sell on Amazon or Ebay but only through their website. There is no ability to leave feedback on their website, The instructional videos that he says are included in the email sent to all buyers (which again was not sent to me) are not posted on the website help section. Why not? AVOID AT ALL COSTS! There are companies out there who would be glad to have your business who will not verbally abuse you, call you names which I can not list here and threaten to sue you if you post anything untrue about his company. EVERYTHING HERE IS FACTUALLY TRUE- NO LIES.

I had the opportunity to contact Acme Tow Dolly today about an issue with my dolly. What I received back was the most unjustified rude, vulgar and obscene e-mail(s) from the owner...THE OWNER! The verbiage and vulgarity was absolutely horrible! I asked a simple question which he did not answer in his first response. I replied saying that was "not what I asked" and the following e-mail exchanges with him were obscene. I'm sorry that I cannot cut and paste the e-mails here since the Revdex.com requests that all obscenity be removed, I have NEVER been talked to by ANYONE like that. Let the buyer beware...

Acme Tow Dolly Company charged my credit card before informing me they had changed their shipping policy and no longer shipped to Canada. They claimed they would refund my money but after 2 weeks I had to email them and inform them the refund had not happened. They apologized and admitted they had delayed the refund. In those 2 weeks the currency exchange had fluctuated and my refund was short $56.20 CDN ( the purchase price was $2304.21 and the refund was $2248.01 ). I emailed them and asked if they were going to honor the difference but their response was a simple "NO".

Bad business to work with. My company supplied ACME with new equipment to help grow and build their business, when it came time to pay the remaining blance owed after installation completion - the skipped out on it. Stay away!
