I purchased new tires from Affordable Tires. They recommended Maxi Auto Service for my front end alignment. It took some time, and the service advisor came out and told me I was ready to go, and "by the way your lower control arm bolt was stripped so we tack welded it to prevent it from backing out" and said "it was in alignment." Why wasn't I advised of the problem before they tack welded my bolt? After taking the car to another service business I found out it was not in alignment, and I was driving the vehicle in a dangerous condition. Hint the L on the bolt stands for left hand thread the R stands for right hand thread. It cost me $144.66 to have the problem corrected. This was in addition to $65.00 initially spent at Maxi Auto Service for the unprofessional and unsatisfactory service.Maxi Auto Service did not align the car's front end and worse, they left my car in a condition which I was told was dangerous and shouldn't have been driven.
