My friend for 17 years has been taken to Life Care Center of Michigan City ,IN. I was complaining about rotting food next to her Bed, no napkin to wipe her self and Day and a half old water not replenished which came to my attention. I talked to the nurse on duty about fresh water and she gave my friend tap water I complained, the nurse gave me a hateful look. As I was pushing her to her room a resident came out of her room previously their were articles were missing. I took a picture for id when I was in the hallway at that moment a resident fell out of their wheelchair and bleed profusely from not being watched , I asked if they want me to call a paramedic they just looked at me and seen I had a phone and assumed I took pictures. I go back to the room and the nurse told me to delete the picture but she did not understand I did not have a picture of their neglect she called the police and had them escort me out. I came back the next day and they said I was no longer allowed in the building even being her caregiver which she has lived with for 17 years. Further more I also complained in the beginning about them giving diabetics which my friend is sweet things with high sugar and no one responded to. Unfortunately this all happened on Christmas Day . I would think twice before admitting, LLC people candy coat and smile in your face to cover the neglect and Holy-cost
