Under Quiet Enjoyment in the Community Standards and Policies section of my current rental contact, it states " When entertaining, using your TV or stereo, playing a musical instrument or using appliances, sound should not carry beyond your own apartment. That might mean turning down the volume and/or closing doors or windows. If you reside upstairs that also means avoiding running, jumping or slamming doors. We want you to be able to enjoy your home, while being considerate of your neighbors' rights and comforts. If you have a noisy neighbor who seems to have forgotten this part of our community policies, please call the Leasing Office. We'll take care of it."
I live in ***. Since the current residents of *** have moved in, I have been dealing with ongoing noise issues day and night from the occupants above me. I have made noise complaints with Capitol Heights Management as well as made calls to the Tumwater Non-Emergency Dispatch and have not been able to resolve the noise my neighbors make. This issue has been ongoing and is currently impacting my health and well-being that has led to missed days from work.
Thank you for your notification. The resident who complainted discussed with us the problem they were facing and we are more than happy to assist them with transferring to another apartment or vacant the lease early without penalty. They stated they did not want to transfer and would move. We are just requesting proper notice of vacating and at this time they say they are looking for a new apartment. Thank you.
