I want you to call the wake county inspection office at Wake County Permit Office919-856-6060Permit # : [redacted]Ask to speak to the person that did my inspection and talk with him, I am not going to intentionally fail an inspection just so I can chase down $60 from you which I will never get based on your comments and customer service thus far. I will let the Revdex.com know that we spoke and forward them a copy of this email thread for them to review. I will let them know that your refused to honor our contract, I am not seeking reimbursement however every chance I get post a review on your company and I will simply state the truth and let others decide if it's worth the trouble of dealing with you. BTW, after reading all your hostile and sarcastic responses on the Revdex.com to your customers, this does not reflect well for your business. People who go to the Revdex.com to vet someone would not hire you, if I had checked first I certainly would have went elsewhere simply based on what I read. What goes around comes around, you may want to think about treating your customers with some dignity and respect. We're done, I will notify Revdex.com tomorrow. Sent from my iPhoneOn Oct 31, 2017, at 4:49 PM, Capitol Buildings <[redacted]@ymail.com> wrote:When you can provide us with a copy of a failed inspection report showing that its because of sheetmetal screws, we willtake care of the issue. Sheet metal screws does not make it a certified building, from the drawing and your remarks it sounds like you just want more screws in the building yourself and not a failed inspection and I cant simply send a paid contractor out for just that.It would cost him half a days pay and by law I can not do that. Customer service is also taking care of business in a manner to protectnot only you but our installers also. If you have a failed inspection report then we will be more than happy to take care of the issue. From: [redacted]To: Capitol Buildings <[redacted]@ymail.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 31, 2017 4:37 PMSubject: Re: Garage Missing Screws - Failed InspectionGreat customer service you have going here, so nice to see you stand behind your services. I have already filed a complaint with the Revdex.com along with a complementary review on your services. After reading your sarcastic remarks to customer complaints I am floored your still in business. My contract states a certified building which cannot be certified at this point; this is your fight with the wake county inspection office. I suggest you work it out with them I have a binding contract with you not them. Sent from my iPhoneOn Oct 31, 2017, at 3:55 PM, Capitol Buildings <[redacted]@ymail.com> wrote:There is no agreement for reimbursement for a failed inspection, but before you can say it failed inspection forscrew placement is absurd considering there is nothing on the blueprints that says where screws are to be placedand I challenge an inspector to show us that. We put in more than enough screws and sheetmetal screws do not determineweather or not a building is certified. Before we send an installer back out for a failed inspection and cost him half a days paywe have to see a failed report. The screw placement is not going to fail a building inspection, and if it does then the head building inspector needs to be made aware of it because that is false. From: [redacted]To: Capitol Buildings <[redacted]@ymail.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 31, 2017 3:42 PMSubject: Re: Garage Missing Screws - Failed InspectionThe inspector was doing the deck inspection, while he was there he verbally failed the metal building for missing screws, I was not there when the inspector was on-site, he was only supposed to be there for the deck, but he started inspecting the building since it was finished while he was there. He told my wife they needed additional screws for structural support in high winds. He told her if he files the report it will be another $60 fee to come back out and re-inspect so there is no report filed, he only filed the deck report.  I can say with absolute certainty from the tone of your email, you could care less about customer satisfaction, he identified 16 screws missing,  I paid for a certified building that will not pass inspection as is. For something so simple to fix you would think this is a no brainer for you company. Given that you made me wait months on end waiting for a sub-contractor to come out and put up the building, then make me wait another six weeks to put the doors on it, considering that your company did nothing except take payment and sub out the work to another company is shameless.  I will go ahead and order the inspection so the report can be filed if you like, would make better sense to fix the problem first, if you would like to argue with the inspector or the inspection office please be my guest. Each $60 charge I receive from them due to a failed inspection I will be seeking reimbursement from your company as per our contract agreement.  Wake County Permit Office919-856-6060Permit # : [redacted]  Thank you.Sent from my iPhoneOn Oct 31, 2017, at 11:09 AM, Capitol Buildings <[redacted]@ymail.com> wrote:There is no where on the blueprints that shows a particular pattern for the sheet metal screw installation and is not a viable reason to fail an inspection. If the building fails inspection then we will go out and fix whatever issues we have.

the building is being installed on Thursday, July 20th

First of all there are no women that work here so that is a fabricated lie and we don't tell anyone to get a permit, that is your decision not ours. The customer  didn't order the building he needed and found that out at a later date. In the meantime he had already received the contracts...

that clearly state that deposits are non refundable and he signed them and sent them back under his own free will. It wasn't until later that he decided he needed something else and he would have to upgrade and now is giving false truths based on the timeline to make himself out to be a victim. He signed the contracts and clearly knew that deposits are non refundable and also signed a contract stating that he gave us the authority to order the materials and that he is responsible to pay for them. The cost of the materials is $5511.20 so he can pay that and we will drop those off or he forfeits his deposit for us to use that to restock his materials which is 25% or 1377.80 so we are clearly losing either way because of his mistake. If he still wants his deposit refunded then he can contact or lawyers to pay the other $4574.20 for the remaining amount for the materials as to the contract.

We have a repair order in the system for this customer. She has been contacted before and we are not disputing she has a leak. We will take care of the leak asap. Someone in repairs will be giving her a call today.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal...

First of all I had not been contacted by the company until Revdex.com notified them. Secondly, they did send a repair person out to fix the roof. I was at work when the young man went out to repair the roof so I could not show him the things that were destroyed in the building. I don't feel that it's right that my things were messed up because something on their part and the only thing they could do was to come back and repair the roof. They wanted their money before he even started to install the building so I feel I should be compensated something for my things getting soiled due to the fact that roof was leaking. However, I do appreciate the fact that once Revdex.com contacted them they immediately sent someone out.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 33, 2016/05/23) */
It doesn't matter who contacted who to get the problem resolved. The roof is repaired and there are no more leaks. Our company is not responsible for anything you put inside of the building. The repair man is not someone who is going to listen to any complaints about what was or was not damaged. He is there to fix your roof and you were notified that someone was coming out to fix the building. it seems you cant be pleased, the roof is now fixed and you want to argue over something that may have gotten wet. That's not going to happen, we do not argue with customers. if you have any more problems with the building leaking etc. please call Matt asap so he can get someone back out there.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 35, 2016/05/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First of all to be a business you have no professionalism about you. There is no argument presented just stating a fact as to the matter the situation was held. Your company definitely is not responsible for what I put in the building but if it had been constructed correctly the items would never have gotten wet. Then you have the nerves to say I want to argue about something that has gotten wet but it is my property just as if it was yours I am sure you would have had a problem with it. But always remember what goes around comes around. No argument from me!!!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/09/15) */
If you ordered on 5/27/16 then 6-12 weeks would have been 8/27/16. It is 9/15/16 and you were informed that they are running behind and to be patient. There was never any guaranteed date to begin with, the times given are estimated when you...

bought the building. The contract clearly states that someone from scheduling will contact you to schedule a date for the install so if your calling every two weeks that was your choice but not needed. We know your building is on order and we don't get paid until its installed so therefore we want it installed more than you do but they are simply running behind. Be patient your building will get there but it will not be by 9/19/16 and you were told that the last time you called.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/09/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We were told after concrete poured it would be 6 weeks, which was end of August. That date came and went, then told mid September, now told sometime in October. I know someone who ordered same size building and ordered it two weeks after me and he had it installed weeks ago. I have always been courteous to woman on the phone and beyond patient. I understand business, but never bite off more than you can chew. We would like a firm date for installation please.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/09/21) */
I have been told that your building will be put up on October 7th and that was the same information she had given you during your last conversation with her.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2016/09/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

There were no untruthful words in the original complaint. We have held up our end of the deal but Capital Buildings has never once gave us a date or even a week when the building would be completed after 2 months of contract return. After speaking to the company for clarity of the installation it was clear that they had no idea when the building would be delivered and the they proceeded to speak to us like dogs. We will not do business with anyone that speaks to people in an unprofessional, hateful, and threatening mannor. Again we have honored our end of the bargain but in return we have got nothing but malicious threats from this company when ask about a simple date of install. This company makes me nervous to deal with and we want to cut all ties with them going forward.

He ordered a combo unit, half open and half closed like he stated. The carport section does not have sides and he didn't pay for them. Carports don't come with sides. The contract clearly says ends at 10' like he admitted to. I have attached a picture of what he ordered and paid for and that's what he got. No tricks or gimmicks. If he had paid or ordered it he would have gotten it. If he doesn't pay for it he wont get it either and he didn't mention the badgering he did on the phone or threatening the Revdex.com or slander. We fulfilled his contract and if he wants the other panels he will have to pay for them.
