Had a mower under warranty Used these people to repair it and they said what they did was not under warranty, so I paid them Found out later from the Warranty company that they had also received full amount of the same $$ from the warranty company for that repair CrookedStay away
We brought in our 10 year old [redacted] mower for repair and tune-up. The self-propel was not functioning. After a call to check on the repair status 3 days after we dropped off the mower, [redacted] and his crew put a rush on the diagnosis and repair. I received a call the very next day. The mower was ready for pick up with a cost far less than we had expected to pay. Capital Repair proved to us that they were efficient, reliable and reasonable. Despite their business and initial 2 weeks for repair, they treated me as a priority and got the job done asap! I will certainly recommend this business. The only concern is that it is very difficult to locate off of Broad Street. It is behind the [redacted] paint store. It is worth the search!
So I have a Troy-bilt log splitter from [redacted] and needed to repair the tire. Got it all fixed and could not find anywhere the pre-load for the axle nut so the the right pressure is on the bearings. I called Troy-bilt and they gave me Capital Repair Services in Richmond and [redacted]. Called Capital and the guy wanted me to bring it in and charge me $50 to screw on the axle nut! He would not tell me the torque setting! Called [redacted] and the guy was awesome and he told me how tight to screw the nut on. Let's say that [redacted] will get my business and Capital will never get it!!!

I was cursed and threatened when I had a question about a quote and told them I would take my business elsewhere. These people should not be allowed to operate in Virginia.

The service on my lawn mower was great, fast and efficient. However, I felt that the man at the front service desk was cranky, sarcastic and generally disagreeable.
