I have no complaints about the hospital bed and wheelchair provided for my husband, but I have had nothing but grief from Numotion's billing department. I have extremely good insurance: [redacted] plus retiree coverage that picks up the entire balance of the [redacted] allowance after the deductible.
I have had to call Numotion practically every month about billings for amounts I do not owe. I understand EOBs and have had a lot of experience explaining them to others because I worked for my secondary insurer for a total of 21 years, some of that in telephone customer service. I cannot get Numotion's billing department to acknowledge the payments made by the secondary insurer and have had to have the insurer call them multiple times. Not only can these people not read an insurance explanation of benefits, but - as several representatives from my secondary insurer have verified - they seem to be unable to do simple arithmetic. Their billing department is simply incompetent.
