Bait and switchI received a mailing offering a tablet in exchange for attending a presentation "to explain about the new laws regarding time shares in Florida." When I arrived, I was greeted by two young men who proceeded to tell me they were consultants hired by RCIThey asked me if I had ever received notifications from RCI about how to make better use of my timesharesI replied truthfully that I hadn'tThey made me sign a note stating I had not received any notice about that They made a copy of my drivers license "for identification." And after an hour, finally presented my with proposed ways of getting out of owning timeshare for thousands of dollars When I said I'd have to think about it, another man was brought in who was aggressive verbally and spoke rudely and loudly to me when I said I was leaving Of course, no tablet was offered
I don't know what Capital will do with my information, but I hope it was just a sales tactic and not identity theft
Don't agree to go to their presentations It's just more money out of your pocket I felt abused

We met with their representatives today to discuss options regarding our timeshare. We are not quite ready to let it go, but we now understand more about options available. Both the gentlemen we spoke with were courteous and we felt informed, but not pressured. We look forward to receiving the promised tablet and will contact them again after we discuss the options for the timeshare with family members.
