I still do not read about you dropping the air conditioner Oh wait, of course it was us, we slammed the air conditioner on the ground before it left our shop and you signed the work order stating that No he/she said, I just report the facts as they are, and the performance factor told all Funny, I do not recall you writing the facts or even mentioning them Most reviews come from people like you who do not write the truth No more correspondence on this matter
There was no negligence on CCAS part The item replaced was defective, and all checked good at that time If other component failed, out of our control If looking for food reimbursement money, customer would need to turn to the manufacturer for that No reimbursement from the CCAS We did not make the refrigerator only service it The refrigerator is repaired and operating to manufacturer specification. No more correspondence to this complaint
We are definitely sorry for the Msinconvenience, but it is also an inconvenience for us as well Msdefinitely needs to understand the service industry a lot better The manufacture supplies the parts for their units and if a part is defective, there is no way to tell until installed We have absolutely no control over these issues and are at their mercy for replacement, and it costs us for the return trip Just thought you all should realize the supply chain
Wowthis is exactly the reason I pay ALL my bills on line thru my bank I have proof that I pay Cap City $on May 7, Why would I pay them if they were not here? I did let Cap City use a card the first time they were here in Dec2014, but, to keep better records, I now pay a bill ON LINE ONLY A Carrie person told me she was going to charge the card they had on file and I told her she did NOT have my permission She was so rude and unprofessional She didn't understand how paying bills through your bank worked I called Cap City a few days after I had made the payment, through my bank, to make sure they got the payment They had But last week when I called, Carrie again was rude and argued with me about the ice maker I could of mis- understood the repairman, Mark, but I wish someone would talk to him about this issue I truly think there is some problems with Capital City' office staff No record of the May 7, service calland no new ice maker that day
I am rejecting this response because: although I understand the service industry, I don't think this company should classify itself as suchI must say that they way my calls were handled with a simple "there isn't anything we can do" is not acceptableAt no point anyone with this company made an effort to consider possible solutions, even less have the technician return to my property to see if he could install the old part that was working a lot better than the defective oneI had to wait for a week for the second visit and the company rep didn't even entertain the idea "we have customers to go to on Friday"I am not sure this company should classify itself as a service company - they are a self-serving company that doesn't keep the customer in mindIt is clear by their response to this complaint that rather than offering a sincere apology, they suggest I need to better understand the industry they say they are inVery unfortunateI even question whether this complaint will make it to the owner/presidentRegards, [redacted]
As you can read the constant rambling and the contradictory statements made within, there is no way to communicate and/or reason with this individual I know, I tried for an extended period with no success When she rants on about the technician asking pertinent questions before arrival; trying to gain some insight on her issues, I knew the conversation was hopeless There is no problem with the unit, indicated by the temperatures upon arrival, -degrees in the freezer and degrees in the refrigerator., which are optimal temperatures The unit cannot infuse moisture into her sealed foods either The manufacture was contacted from the home and agreed with our findings and basically closed the case due to the performance factors The unit was functioning properly I am truly sorry she feels traumatized, but try speaking with her for a while Once again, the Revdex.com should not allow this kind of slanderous banter without investigating the actual facts Let's see if that happens, as we cannot fix a unit that is not broken
Dear [redacted] , I have talked to [redacted] (claim # [redacted] ) yesterday 6and we have settled the claim and our differencesI would appreciate your follow up and posting the resolution of this claim on my Revdex.com information page and/or website Thank you Joe C [redacted]
Response: Complaint [redacted] As you refer in your complaint, the technician was there for almost minutes, went over the machine thoroughly and found that the pressure switch hose had come loose from the tub This is exactly what caused the unit to overfill and flood He then reattached the hose to the tub and even added some sealant to the connection to help keep hose in place, but there is a reason the hose came loose in the first place, that connection is somewhat fragile and when unit vibrates excessively, can cause stress on the connection He did what he could at the time and puts in his tech report that if it reoccurs, would need pressure switch and hose, not to replace the unit Yes, he definitely would tell you to keep an eye on the unit, so your home would not flood again He put you on alert to be attentive He did his best to get you functional and as stated went over the total machine to look for other failures His time is valuable and that is what was charged for You signed off on the work order and unit was operating properly when he departed Charges are legitimate and reasonable and in accordance with industry standards No refund is applicable
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me
over charged for services $for a temporary fix is unexceptable Reading several other reviews, others have had similar problems with this company

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved? I received 20% reimbursement of the total cost of the lost item Sincerely, [redacted] ?
Reject my response, go figure! Not surprising to me after talking with them on the phone, conferenced with the manufacturer representative, that they just cannot comprehend the fact that the technician did not have the correct part on the truck He did what he could on the initial visit and explained the whole situation to them and they signed off on the work order We certainly cannot fix the non-comprehension I was prepared to offer to complete repair with no extra labor until the Mrcalled me "dirty", at which time I realized the simpleton I was dealing with and decided against any further assistance Dirty and corrupt; farthest thing from that! We have been in business for years, preform over 35,service calls per year and represent 99% of the manufacturers in the industry That comment is as bogus as him complaint No further communication on this matter
I called [redacted] and resolved our differencesWe have issued credit to [redacted] ’s credit cardHe has said he would contact the Revdex.com to say as such.Thank you
We reject your response and complaint due to them being unfounded! We do stand by our work and offer a guarantee, in this case a day service call backing which you were well beyond days not days, especially on an issue not addressed I have enclosed a copy of the technician report for the world to see, to prove your unfounded claim But wait, we are dishonest because we are not giving you what you want We have policies as most reputable companies do and we follow them, but oh, that doesn't apply to you...evidently If the technician did address an ice maker issue, there is no record of it and certainly no charges for it Out of the 90,000+ calls we have ran in the year period with the Revdex.com complaints, not bad, but most are from individuals like you that want something for nothing We gave you a guarantee for the work performed and that has expired, so make sure you tell all the facts when you follow your threats I will The Revdex.com knows exactly why we are not members and they fail to pursue that issue We have an "A" rating with the Revdex.com just not accredited(Accredited means you pay their dues to be a member)
My apologies, I am just now seeing where the company has responded to the original complaintIt would be nice if a customer could receive another email before the complaint is closed to remind them to reply (or to make sure they saw the original email)Or maybe a phone call would be nice. Please re-open my complaint and add my response to the complaint. The original repair has not fixed the water leaking down the front of my fridgeWhatever repair they completed actually made the problem worse because now the water leaks down the front of the fridge and tube on top of the fridge freezes overThe original problem where water was leaking down the front of my fridge from the ice maker has NEVER been fixedThis is not a filter issue and never has beenCapital City has told multiple people I have complained about gray ice which I have never complained aboutWe have spoken to Whirlpool multiple times and they were going to try to send Capital City out one last time but they refused due to the service call that is supposedly due which I told them before they even came out I would NOT pay so they should have refused to come out at that timeWhen I told them I would not pay a service call I also asked for a Supervisor to contact me back before the repair technician came to my home which never happenedWhirlpool is sending a company from another area out to assess and fix the leaking fridge that Capital City has NEVER been able to fixI have also lodged a formal complaint with Whirlpool and it has been escalated up the chainThere must be some validity to my claim since the new repair company has already ordered multiple parts and will be coming out to fix the fridgeCapital City's customer service skills and their lack of appliance repair knowledge is unexplainableI guess that is what you get when you are the only company in the great Columbus area handling warranty repairsyou can try to "steal" peoples money by charging service calls when they couldn't repair the actual problem to begin with.Thank you
Response: Flack Listen to this noise; if the tech cannot reproduce the "noise" or identify the problem, he is not going to throw parts at the unit That is the sign of a "shady" company The technician run tested the machine multiple times with no indication of any problem If you want a super quiet unit, you may want to step up in the product line a bit more If the machine makes a noise at minutes into the cycle, then why did you not start the unit at the time of your minute call ahead? The technician found no abnoise at the time of service He followed the manufacture protocol No fault found, no parts! Your description of the year veteran technician is so far off base, it is actually farfetched No more service for noises
That's because I DID NOT DROP IT! so if it was dropped then it was dropped while you had it and YOU FIALED TO INFORM ME OF IT, and in your first response you said "This individual FAILS TO INFORM that the side and the suction line tubing had been pushed into the condenser coil quite hard and damaged that piece to the point of no repair." WellI am not suppose to INFORM you of what's wrong with it; your suppose to inform me what's wrong with it, that's the point of bringing it to you
Neither my wife nor I received this email you supposedly sent on 10/You could have easily attached a copy to your response; yet, you did notI assume that's because it doesn't exist. This is not how your resolve complaints. This is not how you treat customers. The complaint stands, whether you say the matter is closed or notIf you would have turned us away for not having the serial number, why wouldn't you have requested that information BEFORE sending anyone out? That's on YOUThe matter is not closedYour technician did not come to our house as a favor, seeing as we PAID him $for NOTHINGOur time is valuable, tooThis is why we are requesting reimbursement of $for the "favor" as you saidPeople don't pay for favors
Once again, no parking, no service Consumer is required to provide adequate parking once again, seek reassignment
