Review: I received the [redacted] ([redacted]) vaccine on November 6, 2013 from the [redacted], Texas [redacted] (phone number: ###-###-####) which cost me $145. I received one dose as a child when one dose was recommended. Now two doses are recommended by the Center for Disease Control [redacted]). I will be going into the Peace Corps in February 2014 and they require that I have two doses of [redacted] before I can leave the country.According to [redacted] (a customer service supervisor that I spoke with on November 6, 2013), this vaccine would normally be covered by an in-network provider. This is a problem because I spoke with six doctors and doctors offices that are in-network within 30 miles of my then current town of [redacted], Texas and they do not carry the vaccine, have never carried it, and cannot order it. They all recommended that I check with the local pharmacies. I checked with 4 pharmacies within the same 30 mile radius and only one pharmacy carried it: [redacted]. There is one in-network pharmacy (the [redacted] in [redacted], Texas, phone number: ###-###-####), but they do not carry it, have never carried it, and cannot order it. I ended up getting the vaccine at [redacted].I made plenty of effort to find the [redacted] vaccine, so I would like it reimbursed since it was medically necessary for preventative care and recommended that I have two doses by the CDC and Peace Corps. Not only is it medically necessary, I checked within a reasonable area to locate the vaccine in network and had no luck.Desired Settlement: Please reimburse me for the [redacted] vaccine that cost me $145.
