Prior to receiving a service in the clinic, all customers are required to sign a hold harmless waiver to ensure they understand that the services provided at the school are being performed by students who are not yet licensed professionalsStudents are in the process of being trained as cosmetologists, barbers, nail technicians and/or estheticians and the services they provide to customers in the clinic are an integral part of their trainingThe cost of having a service done at the school by a student in training is significantly less than what would be charged by a licensed professional working in a salonEvery effort to accommodate the customer and address her concerns was madeThe color service was supervised by an instructor who said the client left happy and satisfiedThe customer called the following day and spoke with a second instructor about her hair being over-processed by the color serviceThe instructor recommended that the complimentary conditioning treatment be done to correct the problem she was experiencing with her hairIn her telephone conversation with the instructor, the customer stated she would like the school to purchase her a new shirt because the one she had worn the day of the color service had been damagedSchool policy mandates that any damage caused to clothing worn by students or clients is their responsibilityThe customer came back into the school later that week, but chose not to have the complimentary conditioning treatment
