Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The information provided in the response is NOT what I was toldI was told nothing about the Move In-Move out report & simply told "I would NOT be getting my deposit back because she had taken it off the market!" End of storyI then called the Utah Apartment Association & they advised me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com since no lease was signed & this was not legal She admitted here that the check was not check & the lease was NOT signed & therefore I WOULD be getting my money backThe truth was all that needed to be said in the beginning instead of giving me information Sincerely, [redacted]

We apologize if there was any confusion about the Move In Information Sheet. It was emailed to [redacted] on October 4, 2016. A copy is attached and at the bottom of the sheet it states, as indicated in the original response, that the deposit is non-refundable if the applicant fails to occupy the rental. The check was not deposited. When I spoke to [redacted] I said that the Move In Information Sheet stated that the deposit was non-refundable after the application was approved and they failed to move in. I should have contacted [redacted] to let her know the deposit was not going to be deposited and that the check was going to be returned to her.
