Canine Behavior Plus

I contacted Danielle *** owner of Canine Behavior Plus in Allen, Texas, on May 8, 2019 about hiring her to train our new dog. She came to our residence on May 11th for an evaluation of the dog and explained what the puppy basic obedience program would consist of as well as provided the fees for her services. She said she offered two options: $100 per session or $1,000 for a lifetime contract.

I agreed the lifetime contract in the amount of $1,000 (minus 20% military discount) thinking it'd be more cost effective in the long run and made payment arrangements with her. We also agreed that sessions would be held on Saturdays at 4:00 pm. Per her contract, one or two, one-hour sessions per week would be held, until the desired results are achieved.

Between May 19, 2019 and June 25, 2019, we had a total of three (3) classes. During those 6 weeks, there were constant reschedules in short time notice on her end. I would have to chase her down to get on her schedule. On Wednesday June 26, 2019 I expressed my dissatisfaction with her services and lack of consistency. She responded she understood and agreed to a make-up session scheduled for Friday, June 28th. She did not show up to the session and failed to notify me that should not be making it.

On July 2nd, I contacted her again asking her to charge me her regular rate of $100 for the three (3) sessions we had and to refund me the remaining $500 I paid upfront. As of July 10th, I have yet to hear from Ms. Lowery.
