I have been going to this dental office for the past few years and every time I go there I am charge a minimum of $of out the pocket costAfter being told that I needed a root canal and that my insurance company will only cover 80% of the cost and I would have to come out of the pocket 20% in the amount of $i agree to proceed with the root canal due to the pain I was having in my toothPrior to preforming the root canal, I was told by DrB** that this is a day procedure, and I would have to return to the office in week to complete the procedureUpon my return to the office, Dr, B** started shaving down my tooth to make it smallerIn the middle of the procedure I ask him what he was doing, Because my understanding of a root canal is that the nerve will be cutHe told me that he had to put in a crown to protect my toothHe then explained to me that, this is all part of a root canalwhen I get to the front desk to pay my $bill the secretary informed me that my balance is $850, when I ask her why she explained to me that the root canal is procedure and the crown is a separate procedure and chargeAt no point did DrBen ask me for my consent to perform this tooth crowning on meneither written or verbal consent was obtainedyet the want to hit me with a bill!!!! Then to top if off the secretary wanted to play mssmartie pants and tell me don't pay the bill you can just lose your toothThey are a bunch of crooks at this dental officei will no longer allow any member of my family to go there, I would send my dog there
