Will never recommend this company to anyone!
Thank you for forwarding a concern raised by Mr. Chris *** regarding his automotive experience at our location.
We had difficulty locating Mr. complaint as his Revdex.com post lists the name Chris ***.We located his work order from July 18, 2019 under the name of Chris ***. We also have a record of Mr. contacting our Customer Relations Department under the name of Chris***.
In short, the customer had an inner tie rod end, one lower ball joint and an alignment performed on July 18, 2019 at a mileage of 302133km. We have no record/history of the customer ever contacting our store with a warranty concern with his repair during or after his warranty coverage period.
The customer had contacted our Corporate Customer Relations department on December 10, 2019 under the name of Chris***. He indicated that he had someone look at his vehicle and the right front tire is not inline?
Our Corporate Customer Relations department contacted our store to discuss the concern. The customer 's labor warranty has expired October 2019. As a gesture of goodwill on behalf of the Canadian Tire Corporation and our Regent Avenue Canadian Tire store, we offered to re-inspect the vehicle's front end and again align it if required. If further repairs where required, we would estimate repairs for the customer.
The customer has been provided with our store phone number and the extension to call. Any voice mails left at the provided extension come directly to my cell phone that only I have access too. The customer has not returned, nor has he attempted to contact me to make an appointment.
We feel we have gone over and above in attempting to address the customer's after warranty concern. We try our utmost to satisfying our customers but if customer does not wish to return or contact us, our hands are tied.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
I am giving you this information to advise what happened to me when I went to Canadian Tire Portage La Prairie. I am 80 years old with a bad heart, lived in Portage for 30 years and I shop at Canadian Tire from their opening. Last fall, I brought 4 snow tires - approved by the Autopac Plan to change the rims to install on the car. My wife just brought in September 2018 with new safety.
On October 10, 2018, I took the tires to be changed and waited in the customer service waiting room.
I watched them change our tires, and then they took it out to the parking lot, and I waited for the bill. The man in the service then told me that the Nissan had a bad problem with the drive shaft. He then made me estimate to fix it. The price was $1848.93. I think they should have showed me this when the car was in their shop. Don't you?
The next week, I went to Winnipeg to check with the dealer of Nissan said they have too heard of that. I then took the car to the *** that they took all the tires off. They said that they could not see anything wrong.
The manager (Lance) took it out on Portage Avenue and went slow and fast with no problem.
This made me mad that Canadian Tire has started this
