Took my truck to midas in Eagle RiverI dropped it off on the ninth and waited for a response about the repair to be doneI drove bye on the 11th and sought in the parking lot still no work is been done Then I drove by on the 13th didn’t see it thought it was inside the shop being worked on Then I called them on the 15th and ask how my truck is doing They tell me it’s not there and they thought I came and picked it up I was stunned I was like no I did not I couldn’t believe the lack of respect and courtesy to call me and at least check if I picked up my truckSo my truck was missing all weekend with no courtesy call or anything I bought parts to have put in my truck which cost me almost $that were in my truckMy truck was stolen off Midas lot and pushed a couple hundred feet from there shop my parts stolen my stereo and other damag they told me they are not responsible I would think they would call me if my truck disappearedTells me the only care about your money not

On Saturday I called your store (spoke to Jeff or Fred for quote they quoted me $to install my headlights assembly and I even told them that it’s both sideWho would install one assembly?) and few others to check how much it would cost me to have someone put in the headlights assembly in well as you can guess I went with Midas because Midas quoted me the cheapest priceWell, I brought my car in and Jeff (customer service) stated that it will be done within minuteshour and minutes later finally doneI was told that the driver side low beam is not working when they drove the car into the bay (which was wrong because it was working) and they also tested with (HID, new bulb, and one of Midas) different bulbs (which is crap too because on Saturday Jeff told me that they only tried it with the HID that was on there prior to removing the assembly and the new bulb that came with the assemblyI mentioned that specific sentences on SaturdayWhether he was just very convin

My young daughter brought her vehicle to Midas on Northern Lights while I was out of townShe purchased an alternator from O'Reilly's, and walked into Midas asking for their assistanceShe told them she thought the car would not start because of a bad alternatorHer friends uncle worked at Midas and is how the vehicle ended up thereMidas took the alternator and her word that is what was wrong with the vehicle (she's clearly not a mechanic)Midas failed to follow standard practice and complete a diagnostic test on the vehicle and just took her word and hours later, and $later my daughter was told her vehicle was readyMy daughter made it hours before having to return the non operative vehicle back to MidasMidas told her that it was a 'faulty' alternator she purchasedI've called Dave/David and tried to work with him, he continued to talk down to me, dismissed me and failed to admit that they did wrong by not following standard practice and rather than taking a you

I was interested in buying a used car, and had a pre-buyer's inspection done there The inspection itself, as far as I know, was fine They shared the inspection with the seller, which was also fine However, they left my ENTIRE credit card number, with the digit code and the expiration date, on it! They gave away everything needed to empty out my bank account to a man I barely knew When I confronted them, they just said they would get the report back from the seller What good would that do??? Anyone planning to steal my info would have just copied it anyway

Was quoted for extraneous service & was charged for services not performedI don't remember signing for the work they performed, perhaps the chemo made me forgetful or they mislead meI came to Midas instead of my mechanic because of a couponMidas threatened me that my tire would buckle while driving, leaving me damaged & stranded by roadside if I didn't immediately repair the issuesI left Midas with the problem worse than when I arrived, but because I was going through breast cancer treatment, my energy level was very depleted, plus I had to be at radiation, so I chose not to turn around, go back & confront them as I had other health prioritiesI still have other health priorities, and financial ones which is why this letter nowToday I took the car to another mechanic only to discover that Midas did not perform some of the services that I had paid for! I do not want Midas to perform anymore additional work on my vehicle as they are now dishonorable and liarsSo m

Ladies do not go along to shop!!! I came to Midas to chance my
engine oil and to fix Power steering (hose leaking) They asked if they can do visual courtesy check for freeI said : Okay

I paid to get my two rear studded put on and I was charged for the serviceHowever it wasn't doneThis was after I had to return to Midas an additional two times due to an issue they had when putting on my brake pads and rotors

Complaint[redacted] My wife was told she was Appling for the card to collect Canadian Tire Money. Then she was told she would get $6.00 off her first purchase. We made a purchase the sales rep from Canadian tire went with her to the till. She gave the teller a number and we paid for the purchase. Once I had the receipt I discovered the card was a Canadian Tire [redacted]. I phoned the [redacted] number and explained the lack of communication and explanation of product. I told them we wanted no card. It was a Canadian Tire money card she was after. I was told no problem and the card was cancelled. We never had the card never used it, yet they have sent us a bill for the $6.00 discount she was given for applying. I have called on several occasions, went to Canadian Tire and no one can explain the 6.00 charge and they have refused payment at the [redacted] Canadian tire 29/07/2015.Canadian Tire has refused Canadian Tire Money ? This is their problem and it was their money.Desired SettlementClear my name honor the discount they offered Business Response [redacted]After speaking with the Canadian Tire Financial and the lead Manager they will be cancelling card and closing out the 6.32 charge, again I appoligize for the delay as I was on Holidays till today, thanks Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)They have corrected the error and that was all I had asked for from them.
