If I could give this business a 0 I would. Poor communication and the product you receive is not the product they show you in their show room. I feel very ripped off.
We are very sorry that the materials supplied did not meet your expectations. Our staff take an immense amount of pride in providing the best customer service possible, and we truly regret letting you down. We make every effort to explain the supply process thoroughly, unfortunately it seems it wasn't explained in a way that made sense. If you and your installer would like to come in, we would be happy to try and find a solution.
As you requested, I have edited my Google Review to indicate you offered a solution once you saw the poor review. I couldn't confirm the date of your phone call advising me that my order was ready so I have also removed all reference to the duration of the receipt of the order.
In your response you eluded to me not understanding your explanation of the process. I do take offence to that statement as, I did tell you that there was NO explanation provided, therefore there could not have been any misunderstanding on my part. I pointed out the products in your show room that I wanted and the employee wrote up an invoice and I paid half the balance. It was simply that. There was absolutely no explanation that the showroom product would not be what I would receive and there is as there is no sign in the showroom that advised me so, I can't blame myself for not understanding that I wasn't getting the product I as in the showroom.
I do apologize for my part in the tone of the conversation when the owner phoned me to offer restitution, however, it was very difficult for me to explain my part in the process when someone in the background (who didn't introduce themselves on the call but just jumped right into the conversation I might add) continually interrupted me. I perceived there was no intent to listen to my side and that person's tone and personal attacks put me on the defensive.
I appreciate your offer of restitution, however, after my on-site visit where it was indicated by your employee that there was nothing Canadian Oakworks could do for me, I have made other arrangements.
