I am writing in response to complaint 12061262,Greenbelt Road Shell/***Towing, received a call from Greenbelt City Police Department on 3/4/17.Talked to our cashier: She said that Customer was loud and upset that her car was towed without her permission and that money was owed for towing &
storageCashier told customer that the police department had us tow it and take the issue with them.Talked to driver: Driver heard, what he thought to be yelling from inside officeDriver was instructed by Cashier to go to storage lot so customer could get her belongings out of car.Driverstates that customer takes things out of her car then yells towards driver claiming he took money, dollars, out of her carDriver told her if she was finished that she needed to leave.Driver stated that there was a clear money pouch on the left side of steering wheel that had bills in it when he towed it but doesn't know how much.Asked driver if there was an *** & emergency roadside kit & if customer said anything to him about these items missing, he said she never said anything about the other items and he never saw them in vehicle.Talked to Police Dept.: On vehicle release that was given to customer from the police deptthere was no valuables stated on release form and when I called the Police Dept they also stated that there was no valuable noted in paper work.Talked to Customer: Called her on 4/7/17, she talked in a mild manner, while telling me about her experience, she was upset that the police depteven had it towedI responded that under the circumstances it was towed to keep young children off the car and possibly hurting themselves.She describes the purse and where it was and told me the other items that were missing she remembered when she got home.apologized to her on our part and told her the only thing could reimburse her for was the Sshe thought she should get more, so we settled on Swhich mailed a check #*** to her address on 4/10/
