Business not allowing me to cancel a warranty that I was told that I could cancel.
On 6/13 I purchased a Rockwood Mini Lite 2508 from Jamatt RV in Oklahoma. During the purchase process, the Finance Director, B ***, presented me with options for extended coverage on my trailer - a paint protection package, a tire and wheel policy, a GAP coverage policy, and an extended service policy which covers items on the inside of the trailer. I had some concerns over the cost so B lowered the cost of the trailer by approx. $3k to allow me to get the extended service policy and still get my out the door price of ~$17k. On top of the $17k, there was a paint protection plan for $1495, a GAP policy for $1495, and a tire and wheel policy for $699, for a total of $20,689. I had some concern about these policies as I thought my RV insurance through a separate company covered the majority of this. So B told me that I could cancel any of the policies later if I wanted to, except for the extended service policy since it was built into the price of the trailer. As I am working to cancel the policies, B and Camping World are now telling me, on 7/9/19, that the Paint Protection policy cannot be cancelled. I feel like I was, at a minimum, mislead by Jamatt and Camping World. I have escalated this within Camping World's customer service, requesting a call back within 24 hours of 7/9/19. Additionally, I have requested that B's manager call me tomorrow, 7/10/19.
Refund of the $1495 for the paint protection plan to the lien holder.
Mr ***-
We hate to hear about your negative experience. We value all of our customers and their experience. Someone will be reaching out to you from the location.
I purchased a RV and was told I could return it if it was not what I wanted. I tried to return within 30 days and now they wont take it
I purchased a RV on March 30th. *** was my salesman. I was unsure on this to begin with and *** knew this but he assured me that if it wasnt what I wanted then I could return the RV with no questions. On April 29th I decided to let them know I wanted to return it and now they are saying it isnt possible. I tried to return it before the 30 days and they are going back on what they said
Would just like to give them their RV back and remove my loan on it
I completely understand the concern. Unfortunately there is no return policy and we are always thorough with every customer about this process. Customers such as Mr *** typically take a certain amount of time to make their buying decision. In his case this was over one weeks time. We have never advertised a return policy, but would be more than happy to offer a trade in option.
I purchased a used motorhome less then 30 days ago. I was told at the time of purchase that the tires had to be less then 6 years old, they are 14!
I was told when I purchased the vehicle that the tires had to be less then 6 years old or they had to be replaced by the dealer, by law, to sell the vehicle. I had a blowout yesterday and when the shop where it was towed checked, the tires were 14 years old! I have called the dealer several times, and have been promised a call back, but no one calls. I was obviously lied to. In addition to the damage caused to the motorhome, I could have lost my life or killed someone else.
I feel the dealer should pay for the damage to be repaired as well as the tires.
A big big thank you to *** for all his help with our new Thor Freedom Elite. We couldn't ask for better treatment and service. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We think he went above and beyond his job!
Also we want to thank James Lowe he also treated us great and took good care of us along Ryan *** finance manager. These 3 gentlemen took such good care of us and solved all out problems!
Donald and
One stare rating is too much.
They will not stand behind their work. I bought a very nice camper and they did 3 things to it before I took possession of it. 2 of the 3 have had issues within 4 months and they will not fix it. They say they have a 12 month warranty on all of their work, but good luck. I wouldo never recommend them. The good ol days of taking care of your customers and making sure you get repeat business has been taken over by the corporate world (camping world) mentality of "let's do things as cheap as possible and get as much money as we can today so that our numbers for the month are good".
