Review: On 7/14/13 purchased a 2007 Wyoming by Coachman 38 foot, fifth wheel R.V. from subject business via [redacted] - one of the principals. Before paying we went over the RV with [redacted] and his wife being told that all was in good order (verbally). We closed the deal with a check and cash. Within a month we noticed a leaking problem/damage to one of the slide outs that had been hidden by a bear figurine in front of the damage. After two technicians checked the damage (one with Clem's RV sales of Ellwood City, Pa and one individual), we were told that the damage would cost approximately $3500 to $4000 to repair. Also told that this amount of damage did not happen in a couple of weeks. Subsequently, talked with [redacted] on several occassions over a couple of months who told me that they were not aware of any such damage. I felt differently, but could not prove it at that point. Closed up and covered the RV during the winter then had it towed to Clem's RV sales in the spring of this year - 2014. Repairs were made at the cost of $3977.63. Received the RV back at RV Village of Mercer where it is kept approximately one month ago and was told by one of the neighbors that the Peterson's knew of the leak well before the sale to us. Now having proof is the reason for my complaint at this time.Desired Settlement: I would be happy with a partial refund of costs to repair this slide out. The amount I would accept is $2500 in cash or check.
