I am in receipt of your Revdex.com complaint ***Our company, Cam Logistics, was the third party logistics company who handled Mr*** shipment Mr*** received all of his goods undamaged and delivered to his location Mr*** is not and was not our customer for this transaction
We have no business relationship with Mr*** Our customer was offered two options when given their freight quote Option one was to have the shipment guaranteed with a specific delivery time and with special equipment due to Mr*** lack of equipment to unload a tractor trailer The second option was a more economical option which made no promises of delivery time, but still included a call a***d for an appointment and special equipment to unload Mr*** freight Mr*** opted for second option due to his budgetary constraints His appointment time was set for on June The appointment was made by *** *** the carrier Cam Logistics contracted his shipment with The appointment was required due to the special equipment requested by Mr***, lift gate service On the day of Mr*** delivery the truck assigned to Mr*** delivery experienced mechanical trouble The fifth wheel, the connection device between a semi-tractor and it trailer, was malfunctioning and would not engage As a safety issue, the driver switched trucks and hooked onto the trailer The load arrived approximately an hour late for its appointment Mr*** was notified of the mechanical issue and advised of the delay by telephone During the course of this telephone conversation, Mr*** requested a reduction in price for freight services Mr*** was told that this was not an option due to the shipping method he had selected Mr*** informed us he would be registering a complaint with the Revdex.com due to the fact we would not lower his price.It is very disappointing that Mr*** seeks to impugn the integrity of our organization We conduct ourselves with the highest standards at all times Our records and the records of the motor carrier indicate that an appointment was set for for Monday June We wish Mr*** nothing but success in his endeavors.Sincerely,Patrick S*Cam Logistics
