California United Bank

Review: Hello I recently switched employers and was issued a check for time worked. I am attempting to cash the check with my financial institution and they are unable to get any assistance from your company. I myself have called in efforts to simply get a telephone number to provide my bank with California United Bank's direct contact to verify this check. Again California United refused to provide me with any information to make this happen. Instead insisted that I was in the wrong for requesting this information and perhaps making me feel as if I was doing something wrong. California United Bank is now putting all responsibility on me and my financial institution. CUB's suggestion is to simply allow my bank to hold the check (7 days)and then they can release the funds. This would be ok for someone who didn't need their funds for a week. CUB's handling on this matter even with my financial institution has been a joke a best. Again to treat me like that is expected but my financial institution seems pretty wrong.Desired Settlement: I would like them to simply validate the check so my funds will be rightfully given to me. Just need a direct contact from CUB that my bank may contact to validate the check.
