Yes, I did receive a phone call from the Chief Medical Officer of CMIAHe informed me that CMIA outsourced billing to Platinum Physician BillingAs I explained to him no where on statements or anywhere else doeas it mention Platinum billing as the party responsible for the problemsI understand why CMIA feels this is a Platinum Physician billing issueHowever, the point I made during the phone call was CMIA contracts with Platinum to do their billing, CMIA was aware that their were issues with Platinum and it's unknown if they addressed the issues with their contract vendorCMIA provides outstanding service and my intent in filing the complaint does not reflect on their service, it was to bring to light a billing issue that from my investigation many people have been dealing withI appreciate the telephone call and the response but I do not feel the billing and collection issue has been addressed and requesting the vendor to call will probably never happen
