We arrived at CA Fish Grill at around 1:on 9/10/We ordered the Swai White Fish
While eating the fish, we noticed stringy, wormy bits that were 2-inches in lengthThere were of them total inside our fillet
We notified the manager and asked if this was for the fishHe said "I don't know, I'll go ask the back."
He never came back with a response while we waited for the next minutesInstead, we saw him on his phone and eating food in clear sight
Review: I placed my order with the cashier [redacted]. He repeated my order, but didnt ask if my order was "for here" or "to go." Since I had been a regular customer at the establishment, I told him I wanted my order to go. He nodded his head as if he [redacted] me. 15-20 minutes later, one or the servers leaves the kitchen with two dine-in plates and walks around the restaurant before she sees the number I have to know that she has my order. The first thing she asked was, "Was your order for here or to go?" I had also ordered two bottles of water which she did not have with my order. I told the server that I had wanted my order to go-she went back to the kitchen and I could hear the cashier, [redacted], complain about "repeating my order". I could also see my order being dumped into take-out cartons. When I went to the register to tell [redacted] that I wanted my order to go, he told me that he had repeated my order and I didn't say I wanted it to go. Since my food had been dumped in the take-out cartons, I explained that I wanted my order re-prepared. [redacted] snatched the bag out of my hand, and while he was in the kitchen he was mumbling under his breath and giving me threatening looks. I asked another cashier to speak with the manager, [redacted]. When I explained to [redacted] what had transpired, he stated that [redacted] was upset because he had repeated my order to me ([redacted] was nowhere near the cash register when I placed my order, and was showing bias towards [redacted] at that point.) I explained that I was a regular customer, and that [redacted]'s behavior was unacceptable since he was coming in direct contact with customers. [redacted] continued to talk over me and my mother who is a senior citizen, stating that he "was not going to argue with us since our food was already being re-prepared." It was not until I asked for the name and number of the district manager that [redacted]'s demeanor changed, and he offered to give me my order and return my money. However, by that time I was upset and offended, and I refuse to patronize the establishment.

The workers need to be properly trained. Upon reading online reviews, other customers have also had issues with employees and management at this restaurant location.
