Bought my mistake from their other Named Business.. California Engines...Worst mistake I have made since going into business. First.. wrong engine, sent the right one, told us return on them, they sent call tag, listing us as paying. Got our core back, never had to pay for repairs on a core, WTF... Argued because we never got check that was always on the way, Finally gharge back on my CC, They sent check, I put in bank and cancelled the charge back,,, a few days later, I got to pay the return check charge when we found that they had put a stop payment on the check.. That is just a thumbprint, Does not include the amount of foul language Ranting, I hung up, they called back to rant some more.. 57 Grandma in wheelchair, and they even threatened a fight....DO NOT GO HERE

Review: Purchased rebuilt ford 302 marine engine. First one was "lost" in transit. Next one so far has stumped both myself and a marine mechanic in trying to get it started. Over $600 so far messing around with this engine. No contact with Cal. Engines.Desired Settlement: Refund of both purchase and shipping price.

BEWARE, this company will swear at you and harass you if you can ever get a hold of them. I am actually afraid of them. Found out this business has a few names-California Engines, US Precision Machine, and another name on ebay. DO NOT USE THEM. They tried to take my core and promised to pay shipping but that was a lie. My credit care sided with me but it took a long time.

Review: Approx. 22 months ago I ordered a marine motor for a boat. They sent a defective motor and did not send what was specified. They said to return it and that they would pay for shipping. I got stuck with that bill. I returned it back in October 2013 and have not seen a motor yet. I don't feel like that is a reasonable time frame.In the mean time I have gotten another motor from reliable source and don't trust getting another motor from California Motors.Desired Settlement: A complete refund on the motor and shipping costs, which he says he paid with a check when he picked the motor up, but that is not true. It would only be fair if they paid for some of the mechanical costs as well. It was an obvious defect.
