Our warranty protects from permanent staining, punctures and tears. Based on the photos provided, the damage did not reflect the type of damage that is listed under the scope of the warranty and align more with wear and tear. Since our warranty is a product warranty we would
not be able to issue a refund as our product has been applied to your car. Should you have any future damages that are listed as a provision of the warranty please do not hesitate to contact us
Our warranties are product warranties and not insurance. Since this was a newly purchased product, we do not have record that a Theft Warranty was purchased by you so I am unable to review your specific warranty provisions. In general, we provide a product to the dealership
and maintain the warranty all pricing and payments are handled by the selling dealership. In response to the "Desired Settlement" There isn't a service to cancel as this is a product warranty and there is no information collection. In the event that your car is stolen you file a claim with us, we gather necessary documentation to provide appropriate payment to you

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Leather should not degrade this fast in car that has less than 50,000 miles on it in less than 4 years, has been garaged the whole time and has leather protector applied. I have a car with leather seats that is 9 years old with 110,000 miles on it and has no issues with the leather. The leather is flaking off because it is cracking. The intial claim was made within the first 30 days of noticing the problem. You denied our claim without a third party looking at it. We asked to talk to a manager as to why it was denied. You said one would call back with no response. I contacted again because the problem was getting worse in more than the intial issue. The only way to file a claim is online. I am at the mercy of whenever you want to call me back.If you stand by your product you could have had someone look it at and not keep delaying. It took you over 6 months to respond to my last response to this complaint. I think you are just hoping my warrenty will expire and you can keep robbing individuals on false claims that your product protects their car. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the contract sold to me states that this was a protection for the interior of the vehicle against fading, cracking and leather protection against wheather induced weakening of the surface of the leather. The protection sold to me was not to protect only against a instantaneous event such as a spill, which is understandable that it must be reported within 30 days to avoid setting of the stain. However, the protection sold to me goes beyond that - as it stated in the contract itself. Fading and cracking does not occur instantly and 30 days makes no difference to the fact that the protection failed! you sold me a protection, not just a promise that you would remove a stain.

I am rejecting this response because:
I feel it is a matter of interpretation of the warranty. The leather was weakened due to ultraviolet damage, be it a rip, puncture, peeling, puckering or bubbling. Damage is damage. However, "caveat emptor". We should have researched this company before purchasing the contract. I have since done that, and found nothing but derogatory comments concerning their warranties. Perhaps I can get some satisfaction from the Honda dealership where I purchased my vehicle. Thank you for trying to help.
