I called about a leak under the kitchen sink in my condo at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 8/6/2018. Caffi's customer service scheduled a same day appointment. They could not give me pricing on replacements, but referred to their technician who would come evaluate. Despite Caffi's claim to provide 24 hour service, the plumber was unable to arrive prior to the condo maintenance leaving for the day, and he was unable to come the following day. On Wednesday, 8/8/2018 he arrived near lunchtime and only replaced the intake valves under the sink for $677 providing no itemized estimate, only a total price for us to sign in order to have him fix the several-day-old leak. As the "master plumber" on the job, it clearly fell to him as the on-site, self-proclaimed expert, to coordinate with the condo maintenance and make sure all the details were attended to properly, including the water being turned off and on so as not to affect our water pressure, or that of any neighbors in the building. Following his costly repair the sink still had a leak, and the water pressure in both my condo and my neighbor's was first low, then disappeared completely. The plumber commented after he finished working that the water pressure was lowered, but he did not address or correct this problem that now existed following his work.

When we called back to have them fix the new problem, the same plumber returned on Tuesday 8/14/2018 prior to 8 a.m. (he was scheduled between 10-2) to see the damage he caused the week prior. He verbally attacked the condo maintenance representatives confronting them belligerently in front of three neighbors and my small children. The plumber purported himself as the "master plumber" with many years of experience, and as such he informed us he was "trying to teach us" albeit in a combative and frightening manner. He should certainly have been more professional in his communication and in his workmanship. While he entered the neighbor's condo on 8/14/2018 he did not even inspect the problem but tried to pick a fight with the condo maintenance rep. This plumber is not welcomed to return to our homes. We have now had a leak under the kitchen sink for over a week, and both the neighbors and I have had no water in the kitchen for over a week due to this shoddy service.
