MsAtkinson: In response to your letter dated 10/27/2014: Preferred Landscape and Lighting has made contact with the owner’s and will continue to work to meet there expectations for this project To date we have: Mailed a refund check for over charged material delivery fees Replaced plant material at no charge as warranty items Have talked with Mrs., and made (2) site visits to apply herbicide to control weeds in beds at no additional cost Moving forward Preferred will: Make up to (3) additional applications of herbicide to control weeds Warranty plant material for (12) months from date of installation or as per the original contract agreement I believe this information has been sent along to the owner’s and hope this meets with their expectations Preferred is committed to correcting the deficiencies in our work and improve our communication which has been a problem to date Thank you for your assistance with this matter, do not hesitate to contact me should you need additional information [redacted] Preferred Landscape and Lighting Cell ###-###-####
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We are due warranty work that was requested in August, that includes replacing dead trees; treating grass and planting beds for weeds in areas that were pre-treated for weeds; remove and treat grass growing in planting beds that were pre-treated to kill grass; remove Bermuda grass that was incorrectly installed and replace with Palisades Zoysia as ordered; properly plant shrubs that were planted improperly and not growingAlso, we have not received reimbursement for the road base and delivery of road base that was never used installed Regards, [redacted]
In regard to the complaint we received (***) we have investigated the issue and have found that on 6/18/the account in question was credited to reflect a zero balanceI have included the account
summary with a "Paid in Full" stamp for the customer
To our customer, I apologize that the issue could not be resolved to your satisfactionWe value all of our customers and knowing that you were not satisfied is very disappointing to usWe will take away from this the areas that we, as a business, need to concentrate on which from the complaint would be communicationPlease accept our apology
