Review: 08/13/2015 CABRILLO INN @ BEACH SANTA BARBARACA $197.28 We did not stay at this hotel, we arrived on 8/13, the room was very hot, no window and only a sliding glass door where there was a fan only. We spoke to R[redacted] who spoke to the owner V[redacted]. V[redacted] said he understood with the California heat wave and would credit our charge card. We have contacted Cabrillo Inn 8/13, 8/16, 8/22, 8/25, 8/31 and now 9/3 requesting the credit. R[redacted] said V[redacted] has it on his desk and will get to it when he can and other people are waiting for the same thing. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Review: This hotel was booked on-line and upon arrival and seeing the hotel, it was obvious that it is not a place to stay due to the safety, health and cleanness problem. Therefore, I spoke to the manager on duty and never checked-in due to the circumstances of the hazardous elevator, stairs and walkways that were closed off. Upon seeing the room, I found that the bathroom was not clean and the bedding and carpet held unhealthy concerns for overnight stays. This hotel needs to be inspected by the City for health and safety purposes.My wife has had lung surgery and cannot stay in unclean roomsDesired Settlement: Transaction Amount: $502.56 Refund
Review: On 5/16/15-5/1715 I was a guest at the Cabrillo inn and paid $410.08 for a suite. There was no working water during my entire stay. I repeat no working water. I wanted at least a partial refund for the major inconvenience and when I asked for a refund the employee at the front desk (the only one available by phone) was extremely rude and said its the city's fault and not theirs. I should not have to pay $400 for a hotel room with no working water and considering he horrendous service I received I expect a full refund.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $410.08
