Piece broken but the granite installment.
I purchased cabinets and counter tops. They left the molding piece broken by the granite install and when I contacted cabinets to go, they told me they will get the piece from 5-7 months then Tim from cabinets to go sent an email to me telling me : that is a long time, let me see if I can get the piece and he got the piece, but he has never responded my emails after that. I have been waiting the answer about when they will come to install the piece over three weeks for a response. He has ignored my emails.

Desired Outcome

I need them to repair the piece they broke. That is their responsibility not mine.

I wil accept the response from the business till they come and finish the work. They have not even called. Thank you.

We sent an email verifying the piece of molding was obtained even though the corporate office was telling the customer this item was backordered and they responded to the claim I filed on Mr. behalf. I went and found a piece for Mr. Akin so we wouldn't have to wait for so long to get it. The counter top company was the company that damaged the molding. We requested they go out and fix it but we've got no response from them. I gave our installer the piece of molding I got and asked that he contact Mr. to go put that on. The molding is in his possession.

Attached is the last email trail we have from Mr.. Please notice the "Anytime installation is good for him" note. That implies that timing isn't a problem. Then 3 weeks later a complaint is filed. Mr. wouldn't even have the molding for 4 more months, if it wasn't for my efforts to get him a piece of molding. Not sure I agree with the lack of understanding due to timing and with the current coronavirus situation going on it seems a bit unreasonable and punitive to even file a complaint. We've contacted our installer again to see if he willing to go and put the molding on.

I would be happy just to have cabinets to go ship me the piece that was broken during the install. At this point I'm done with this and will install it myself. It's extremely disappointing that cabinets to go doesn't want to repair this immediately vs. waiting 3 weeks (before the virus hit) with no response to my emails and use my kindness as a way out when I said anytime is fine as mentioned in Tim's rebuttal. He didn't even say anything about giving it to his install personnel to me nor did the installer contact me to set up a time. I paid thousands of dollars for a great kitchen and they just don't give a ***. I am going to leave a review and not recommend any of there services.
