Review: Purchased cabinets back in August which were white in color, was told we would receive by end of October, never came in until November 8th and we still didn't have the hinges or the 3/4 round. When we looked at the cabinets they were more of a grayish in color, not the white that was displayed. When we spoke to Mark at the store, he informed us that you changed manufactures and that the color wasn't close to the display. Mark informed us that we would have to pay a re-stocking fee for the cabinets as well as for the items that we didn't even receive of which we shouldn't have to pay since the color was NOT what we saw in the store. If the cabinets came in the correct color we would not have returned them, of which has been already resold.Desired Settlement: Refund check for $800.00
Review: Cabinets were ordered in April of 2014 and the order has been only partionally fullfilled. The portion of the order that was filled, was delayed several times and portions of the product sent was incorrect. After engaging the company for months I was eventually able to get most of the order, although I was told at the point of sale that the product was in stock and instead it took 3 months. This disrupted a remodeling schedule and impacted contractor work and payment in addition to the inconveneince. It has now been approximately 5 months and there is still outstanding product which was paid for and not delivered. I have been attempting to contact the store and corporate office and they acknowledge the issue and yet have not resolved this issue. In the last two weeks I have discussed with customer service reps who can communicate with regional management and the store but cannot resolve the issue. The store has left me on hold for long periods of time and the regional management has neglected to reach out to me as requested, and have even ignored emails sent from their own customer service (I was copied). The store employees had casually mentioned several times that I am not the only person impacted and they have had other sgnificant delays. I assume they believe this justifies the poor service; I do not.Desired Settlement: I have installed most of the product in my remodeled kitchen and I would like the remaining items to install and match. That said, I feel Cabinets-to-go should compensate me in some way for the inconvenience and for misleading me at the point of sale and in subsequent discussions. I believe a refund of the cost for the items which were late and incorrect is appopriate.
Review: Cabinets were ordered on July 2014. I am still missing 33 items: one glass door and 32 soft close dampers. I am told all the dampers are in and the door is still missing. It was been seven months, and after months of dealing with unsympathetic customer services representatives who were unapologetic regarding the length of time that it has taken this company to fulfill the order I am once again being billed for the entire order even though I am missing pieces. I called the store to explain that I won't be able to pick up the items there until the weekend of March 21st. I was able to request a stop payment on the card for the last several months but now I am being charged. No other hardware store would operate this way. I would get a call to pick up my full order once it was completed. It's bad business practice to charge the full amount and to have customers pick up incomplete orders.
Please note there is not enough space in the following section to list all the people I spoke to or the number of times contacted. The store was contacted in October after I picked up the incomplete merchandise and realized what was missing. Contacted customer service in November, and Accounts payable in November. Contacted store again in December. Regional manager finally contacted me in February after 3 weeks from my original request that he contact me.Desired Settlement: Place the credit card on hold until all items including the glass door are received.
