Overall to this point my experience has been negative. He takes a long time to return calls. Most of the time when you need a plumber, you need one sooner than later, he's kind of a 24 hr+/- kind of guy when it comes to that. If its on a weekend, forget about it, you won't hear back from him till Tuesday.
He did the plumbing in my bathroom. Its about 5 years old. Its all falling apart. The sink accessories, drain, faucets, and such are all starting to show failures, and the shower went today (We're a one shower house). Where the shower stalk meets the plumbing in the house cracked. My observation after taking it all apart (after a failed return call attempt - see paragraph above) is that he uses adhesives, making the process of taking everything apart and replacing the pieces a near impossible task without a torch. I have no interest in filing a claim at this point, his work lasted 5 years and I would imagine that's beyond warranted standards, but my old bathroom fixtures lasted 20 years. I have to deal with the aftermath of all this myself, but plumbing fixtures should last more than 5 years.
He seems like a nice guy, but I'm just not overly impressed with the workmanship. He could do a lot by just returning calls quicker, or at all. I'd be willing to give him a chance to fix the problem, but the lack of a call back has forced my hand to look elsewhere.
