On 6/29/2012 I placed a called to [redacted] Inc for an estimate to repair my roof. I'm now being charged for unauthorized work to my house.

On 6/29/2012 I placed a call to [redacted] Inc to receive an estimate of cost for storm damage to the roof of my house. I was gone most of the evening and came home around midnight to find 3 employees of [redacted] Inc, climbing down from my roof. I did not authorize any repairs to be done to my roof, and only asked for an estimate for the cost of a repair. I was not told that they were going to sending anyone out that day. I was not home at the time [redacted] Inc arrived at my house and climbed onto my roof. I was not proved with any receipt, or paperwork stating what was done to my house. I was simply told by one of the crew members "your ready to go". Now [redacted] Inc is trying to collect payment from me for an unauthorized repair to my roof.

I called [redacted] Inc on 6/30/2012 to notify them that they sent a crew to my house and that they made repairs to my roof. I did told the person that answered that I never authorized any work to be done to my roof or any of my property. I only asked for an estimate for the cost of repairs. I was never asked to authorize an "emergency repair".

I received the first invoice on 9/18/2012 and the billing date on the paperwork said 9/17/2012. I called on 9/18/2012 to dispute the bill with [redacted] Inc, and was told that even though they did not receive authorization "the repairs needed to be done anyways to prevent further damage". I was next told that they had already submitted the bill to my home owners insurance company Erie Insurance.
