I called terminix for pest control and they scheduled me for Saturday between 8 and 12. They called me Friday to say that they could not do Saturday. After waiting for for 30 mins and talking to three different people they said that they could do Saturday. So Saturday they never showed up, so I called after 12 and after talking to four different people and over an hour later they said that they put a note in on for them to come out but did not official schedule it. Really is that how you do business? You tell the client they are scheduled, but they are really not. I do not recommended terminix to anyone. If your reading this please use someone else and save yourself a headache. I'm taking my business to someone who wants it.
The national phone line promised prices and services but then the individual, local Terminix businesses did't stand by them. Talking to them was like dealing with a shady used car saleman. Got a referral from friend who is on a quarterly pest plan and has a house twice my size. His service includes insects and pest animals for $80 quarterly. We were both supposed to get Amazon gift cards for the referral. Local office quoted me almost $70/mo for same service until I told them what my friend paid. They asked for his phone number, looked up his account and then said they would give me same deal but for $121 for first quarter then the $80/quarter. Guaranteed me they would address my mole problem also. Service guy came out and said it was $171 first quarter then $80/quarter and they didn't do moles. He told me I had to sign a contract for that price to get the service without mole control that day. I told him I would call Terminix and could he wait? He said they wouldn't be able to help me on a Saturday but I decided to call anyway. I was put on hold and he said he had 7 more stops so I asked him if he could circle back to me if I got the price straightened out on the phone and he said he could. Talked to rep on phone who said first quarter price should have been $121 but $50 discount had not been applied. Also said they would get the mole situation straightened out and he was going to call the technician to update him. He couldn't get through to technician so he said he had left him a message to call me and come back out. Got call later that afternoon from tech saying he couldn't make it back out but to call and reschedule. I called and rescheduled for the following Saturday (today) and was visited by Joan B[redacted], Senior Inspector and started explaining the whole communication fiasco to her. She flat out said I was misquoted and that if I wanted service it would be $200+ today and $120+ per quarter. I opened my front door and told her to get out of my house. I would never recommend Terminix to anyone. Very unreliable communication and no integrity in regards to the price/service quote they negotiated with me.
Horrible company. Tried to cancel after first visit because they were not effective. They wanted an additional 200 to cancel. I was already mad I paid 100 and got nothing in return and they were asking for another 200 to cancel? I don't think so. They turned me over to collections. Guess what is? You won't see that money ever. In fact reviews like this one cost you money. Take a look at your business practices and join us in 2016. Also stop sending people out to knock on doors and bug people to sign up for your crap service. You people are the real pests. Who do I hire to get rid of you?
I paid nearly $2000 for a mouse exclusion and pest control contract to the Colorado Springs branch. The salesman promised services that the technician swore were prohibited (e.g. sealing of roof access points). Further, the technician arrived for the service and was 'out' of many needed supplies. Then he stole some of our personal property and assaulted me when I confronted him about the theft. The Police had to be called to file criminal charges against the technician.
It took three weeks and several calls to and from the corporate office in TN to get the contract cancelled any my money refunded.
We paid for Termite Baiting Program $2680.00( termite plan number [redacted] ) on November 6th, 2015. This program is covered by the The Ultimate Protection Guarantee which is including "same-day solutions for any of your termite needs" and "100% satisfaction or your money back".
On 3/05/2016 we realized that we have termites at our home and my husband immediately called to Terminix. He was told that they don't have anyone to come to our house on Saturday. After one hour of speaking with at least 4 people they agreed to send us a technician. He came and sprayed some chemical stuff. On Monday, March 7th two technicians came to our house, inspected and refilled all the traps around our house. On March 13th 2016 in the early morning we found out that there was an attack of termites again. We instantly called Terminix and they told us that theydon't work on Sundays. We told them that our Termite Baiting Program is covering us at the same day( remember, that this program is including "same-day solutions for any of your termite needs" and "100% satisfaction or your money back"). WE spent around two hours on the phone with different people from Terminix but we've got nothing. We were told that on the next day, Monday March 14th somebody would take care of our property. Nobody appeared on Monday and we called again Terminix and spent another hour to find out when their technician is coming. On Tuesday March 15th nobody came either. We called on 3/15/2016 and the area manager wasn't able to organize anything. So here we are with our termites in our house. It is Tuesday night and nobody came. This is not the right company to deal with.
Yours, very frustrated and angry customers. March 15th, 2016
I had an inspector come out from your S[redacted] office to look at my house for termites. He told me my house was infested and needed to be tented and fumigate. He then gave me a sheet of proposed services along with a payment plan . I then had 3 more termite control services come and look at my home. All 3 said I did not have any termite issues. Clearly your employee only wanted to sell a product and was not honest in his appraisal. Dishonesty is not a very good business practice.
Terminix been coming our 3 apts for past 2 years to get rid of the bed bugs but they are doing a bad job. They never kill the bugs. Every time after they spray, we still get bitten by the bed bugs. We throw away our dressers and sofas. We put clothes, sheets, & stuff animals in bags. We pull everything from the walls because they told us to do all this. They claim their bed bugs protector can protect our beds but it not working. Even our carpets have the bugs but they wont do it. We are having hard time sleep because the bugs bite us every night. We think they doing a bad job because they want us evict because our landlord threatens us to evict us now. They are not taking the blame. We are taking the blame for their bad job. We still have the bed bugs after they came to spray for the last time last wk. I don't trust them now. We need the bugs to be kill still but they don't believe us. The bugs are ruin our lifes. We could have health problems now. Our local government is not doing nothing. We tried to fill complaint form on Revdex.com but it won't come up which it bad because we need their help now.
We think our landlord could the only one in DE but we could be wrong

In January 2015, my fiancé and I contacted Terminix in order to inquire about their exclusion services. After discussing the techniques and strategies to be utilized, we decided to proceed with the exclusion service in order to rid our home of bats. We performed the entirety of removing the existing paneling and insulation in our entire second story where the exclusion services were to be performed ourselves which we were told would save us nearly $2,000 of the nearly $9,000 process. We were told that the bats would be removed safely (as per Federal regulations, as bats are a protected species), the guano and urine would be disposed of and the area sanitized, and that all entry points would be sealed within the walls and our chimney with a clear sealant. Upon the 'completion' of the 'service' provided, we were left with spray foam insulation in our chimney both inside and out (not a clear sealant as we were told), damage to our home's structure and furniture that was upstairs during the process, and we still have BATS and large amounts of guano and urine which rendered our entire second floor useless and our children without bedrooms. I attempted to reconcile this issue more than once and was told that "someone would call me" but never did. I refused to accept that we would be charged for the $2,000 worth of work that we did, even though we have the paperwork and pictures to prove that we did this work with the understanding that we would not be charged for work that WE did ourselves. Our chimney is now mutilated with an obscene amount of cheap spray foam, and we hear/see bats upstairs on a daily basis. We have continued to document their presence and mess since having our 'exclusion' done, seeing as how we have four small children in our home and run the risk of histoplasmosis, rabies, and other parasitic threats with the bats remaining in our home and our saving having been depleted in order to pay for the exclusion.
