C & M Quality Construction

We signed a contract with Mr [redacted] (owner/contractor C&M Quality Construction) to complete a screened in porch on our back deck. [redacted] quickly abandoned work site after failing several inspections (required by city)and after only a few days work total over the course of several months. [redacted] was paid the bulk of the money owed him (6800.00) per the contract we signed with him. Since Mr [redacted] led us to believe that some money issues were part of the delay we agreed to pay him in advance of certain milestones he was supposed to meet re the contract.We were more than willing to work with [redacted], cut him some slack and adjust our schedule. We really just wanted the porch completed. But after several broken promises weeks and months of no shows and finally no contact at all we're out of options.[redacted] essentially stole from us. We're not wealthy people and can not afford to just let someone walk away with 7 thousand dollars of our money. Money we worked for and saved up for this project. The man is a thief, IMO.
