--------------------------------------------------------------------------------...⇄ /> Since we did not get a transmitter when the garage door open was installed, I would have expected the replacement transmitter @ no charge
When my husband picked up the replacement remote, and it is not the same brand as the garage door opener It was a cheaper aftermarket brand (Linear instead of Genie) I’m hoping it will work
Another issue came up after two weeks with the new garage door opener The arm that is attached to the garage door came completely apart The technician did not use the correct hardware from the arm piece to the garage door My husband went to another garage door opener repair company and obtained the correct hardware and fixed the garage door opener
I feel we received and paid for a new garage door opener with substituted or missing components.
We have been a customer of C&M for more than years I don’t know what has changed, but this company is not being run by the same person(s)
When the customer service person told me (on two calls) that they were going to believe their technician, they were basically calling me (the customer) a liar There was no apology, or indication they wanted to keep me as a customer Maybe they have enough customers, and loosing (or several) is not a big deal to them
I’m hoping we do not have more issues with this opener but we will no longer call on C & M
Regards,
Mrand Mrs***

Good Morning,I filed a complaint last week about C & M Garage Doors, Loveland CO I felt I was
improperly charged a $service fee twice The original quote for a replacement garage door opener was $ My impression was that it included the service feeI paid a $service fee on 10/to fix the opener, rather than replacing it, after the technician worked on the trouble codes and reset the opener That did not resolve the problem (it worked just two times after he left), and they returned 11/1, that time replacing the opener They have reduced the cost of that replacement charge to $350.00, so it appears a net charge for the second service fee of $ I still think they should not charge me for the second visit at all, but they have attempted to resolve my complaint.Thank you*** ***

Good Morning,I filed a complaint last week about C & M Garage Doors, Loveland CO. I felt I was improperly...
charged a $90 service fee twice. The original quote for a replacement garage door opener was $400. My impression was that it included the service fee. I paid a $90 service fee on 10/31 to fix the opener, rather than replacing it, after the technician worked on the trouble codes and reset the opener. That did not resolve the problem (it worked just two times after he left), and they returned 11/1, that time replacing the opener. They have reduced the cost of that replacement charge to $350.00, so it appears a net charge for the second service fee of $40.00. I still think they should not charge me for the second visit at all, but they have attempted to resolve my complaint.Thank you[redacted]
Within warranty period - garage door was not working properly. This company came and slapped us with an unexpected bill ($80) blaming our framing. Still didn't work - got second opinion from a different company ($49) who informed our framing was better than most and the actual opener was a very old model and the whole system was failing (circuit board/down limit switch). Confirmed with the [redacted] Company that our model was indeed old. Direct from their email "These units were installed in the late 90's and early 2000's". Ours had a production date of August 12, 2004 - almost 8 years from the time of production to when they installed it. Makes us wonder if it sat on a shelf all those years or was previously used.Company has horrible ethics to be charging what they charge for aged products and then not honoring their warranty. Would never recommend as we are investing a lot more time and money into it because of their service.
