Entered into a contract to purchase a car fro C & L Auto Sales. Its is a buy here pay here business. We were told at the time that anytime we were unable to make a full payment to let them know and they would work with us because they were there to help people. In May of this year we made a partial payment and were told is was no problem, in June we made another partial payment and were told the same, that it was no problem and everything was fine. On Saturday June 22 they sent someone out to repossess our car. now they are wanting $700 for us to get our car back. After talking to several people we were told that this is how they handle all a lot of situations. They tell people that it is no problem and then repo the car so that they can resell it. they wait until you have the car almost paid off and then they do this. They also share other customers information with people which is suppose to be between you and them. I believe that if you are told something that should stand if they are not going to stand behind what they say they should not say it.
