on December we contracted with Kerry E*** of C and K Masonry to remove and install a new driveway with stone paving bricks and a concrete apron The job was to cost with a deposit to startHe was to start the job on 15th On the 14th he called and stated that he needed to complete a job and if he could start on Monday the 19th he promised that he and his crew would be at our property to start the job.On Monday the 19th he shoued up alone stating that his helper cancelled on him but he would start to break up the concrete He started breaking up the concrete with a sledge hammer I asked him where was his equipment he stated that his jack hammer had broken and he would rent one later Later during the day I received a phone call from Kerry asking me if I would be able to meet him at *** *** to rent the jack hammer for him because he only had a prepaid credit card and that they did not accept them for rentals I told him fine but I would d
