We dealt with *** *** excellent and courteous, even through his swearing and lawyer threaten session from today We gave him a price to repair and balance the drive shaft for $plus tax which is a far cry cheaper than the dealers asking price of $ He brought the drive
shaft to us on 8-7-We inspected it and we called him back with the estimate, he said he would think about it and get back with us, which he did later that dayAt that time he said he was just going to buy a new oneWe said fineWe did not charge him for any of our time or labor looking at itEven though the technician was paid by C.J.Auto Works for his timeHe did not say that he was going to come get his old drive shaft or notWe kept it here until the first week in October when our next scrap steel run was made and that part was hauled off at that time with all the other scrap metalWe have a sign in our office that clearly states that "Parts left over days will be thrown away"His part was left well over the day time frameHe claims we made money on his drive shaftWe get paid $a ton for our scrap steel loads, so we maybe made cents on it if thatWe are not responsible to store peoples old partsWe feel that days is more that generous to give customers to pick up old used partsCurtis J*** / C.JAuto Works
[redacted], we truly apologize for the problems we experienced with your car. When we tested the engine on previous repairs, we had no signs of head gasket problems. We repaired the leaks at the connectors, and test drove the car, without any problems. The head gasket could have failed from the...
times it did leak, and just got too hot, and overheated. Regardless of what happened, we repaired the head gasket for the customer, along with the connectors. The engine is running great now, with no more leaks. Unfortunately problems happen, and we can't always control everything that occurs in the shop, and/or employees. We will always take care of our problems and customers, in the best way possible for both parties. Again [redacted], we do apologize, and hope your car is running great. Rather we get the chance to help you in the future or not, just know we will take extra care with you and your vehicles, and will give you the best deal possible, to try and make up for any inconveniences we have caused you. Thanks again for your excellent attitude towards the situation. Curtis - CJ Auto Works.
