Five star
Been doing business with this dealership off and on for over fifty years. Would like to thank Scott the manager of the service department for always going the extra mile for great service. Would also include Mike Urness for also going the same extra mile. Will always be a five star dealership in my eyes.

The customer in this matter came into the dealership today, September 13th, 2017, spoke with our service advisor and Mike U[redacted], and this issue was resolved. She apologized and stated that she was going to try to reverse the complaint when she got home.

[redacted]s acknowledged that they had hauled several heavy loads with this truck prior to the failure. The statement that she "talked to two mechanics" who stated "there were signs that the crankshaft was ready to go out and we would have known it" is false and misleading. There are no "signs". One would have to tear down and visually inspect a crank. Obviously, it is cost prohibitive to disassemble an engine to inspect a crank on a 13 year old vehicle with over 200,000 miles and is not common in this industry.Mrs [redacted] was not present at delivery. Mr [redacted] was shown a receipt of injectors which were installed by EmTech NW LLC. (included in attachment). No other repairs were done or implied. After the injectors were replaced the vehicle was driven 2,637 miles before Mr [redacted] purchased the vehicle. We accepted Mr [redacted]'s offer of $8,999 with his stating that it was all he was going to pay.Mr [redacted] signed the Used Car Buyers Guide. The As-Is No Warranty is repeated again at the very top of the Buyer's Guide. The Kelly Blue Book value for this vehicle is also included in the attachment showing $14,334 retail and $11,839 wholesale. Mr [redacted] purchased the vehicle for only 8,999 which was $2,840 below Wholesale, which is known as Wholesaling. Wholesaling is what dealers do with aged inventory.Mr [redacted] was fully aware of the risks of buying a used work vehicle and acknowledged it several times during the negotiations. I am rejecting this response because: The company is misrepresenting the whole encounter sale. We were told that this truck was owned by a family member of the owner at this dealership. The use of this truck was regular use for a work truck but had not yet been used to haul heavy equipment. We have dump trucks that we use to haul our equipment to job sites. With that said we live in a small community and work within 30 miles of Hood River 99% of the time. [redacted]s Paving a local company and we tried to buy local and we are out $9000.I believe that we were told of the repairs on the truck along with the previous owner being a family member as a way to convince us this was a good truck. We were duped!
Even if we aren't able to retrieve any resolve in this matter, my hope is that this is public file so that others are aware before they buy from this company. I wouldn't want others to be told a story of family ownership and repairs/updates and then buy a lemon or worse than lemon a broken vehicle.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
