We have received a letter from Revdex.com saying that they are investigating a complaint lodged by one of the patients seen at [redacted] Hospital.? We do confirm that the patient was seen and the notes dictated and all the charges are appropriate.? The patients statement that she does not remember is not a valid claim.? If the patient is indigent and cannot afford to pay her bills she needs to send a letter in writing saying that she needs our consideration for write off.? The services were provided by Dr [redacted] and he is not a hospital employee but an independent contractor.? His office policy is when services are provided then if the insurance balance remains the patient is liable.? As mentioned above we will be happy to write off the amount if the patient sends a letter in writing asking us to do so because she cannot afford to pay her bills.? This is our office policy
