To Whom It May Concern: On May 1, 2015, customer came to C&C Pre-Owned Auto Sales and Service wanting a state inspection on his 1993 Chevrolet. Our inspector performed the inspection, and while doing the inspection, he filled out the checklist, listing what passed and what failed. After...

finishing the inspection, he turned the checklist in to me (the manager) and called the customer out to the garage to tell him what needed to be fixed on his car for it to get an inspection sticker. Our inspector took hold of the mirror to show customer it was loose, and while doing this, the mirror broke away from the car. The inspector did not fall into the mirror as the customer claims. The mirror was already damaged/loose before our Inspector took hold of it, but if you feel we should take care of it, we will pay the $35 the customer spent getting it fixed.

My spouse works for this company so I took my car there to have an oil change. Like any other time the service is taken out of his check. They did an oil change using the wrong filter and had oil spew everywhere when it was started. They preceded to change it again and everything was fine. A week later while driving down the road the oil light came on and the car just died. The car was pushed a block back into c&c and upon inspection "BY THEM" The oil filter had completely fallen off! My engine is now seized and my 2 week old car completely ruined. They are telling me now that there is no receipt for my oil change so there is nothing they can do! I am also in fear now that my spouse will lose his job because of these problems.
