This is a driveway that we had seal coated in the fall of The customer had called this past June with concerns on the driveway that the seal coat was wearing off and had disappeared in spots I had gone out to look at the driveway back in June I do apologize for not having responded right away regarding these issuesOur records indicate the customer had called the office again multiple time in July and August After each of those occasions I did call back and left voicemails advising to call back directly on my cell phone to discuss further I had left messages indicating the best time to reach me is in the evenings, as I am out on job sites all day Many of the calls were returned to our office number, where I am not at during the day So unfortunately, due to schedules or timing it seems, we have been continually playing phone tag and have not been able to connectI am willing to address the issues with the driveway, and have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the customer and have made efforts to return the phone calls Had we been able to connect via phone, this is what I feel is occurring with the driveway: This driveway is a shared drive lane for four separate homes There are areas where the seal coat has worn away, most notably at the top of the driveway It does appear that the cause was due to a snow plow, which was visible by scratch marks from the plow on the driveway The sealer is meant to be a wear surface So rather than the plow causing damage to the blacktop, it wears the seal coat layer Depending on the grade of the driveway, it can cause uneven seal coat wear I honestly believe this is what occurred on this driveway I unfortunately cannot warranty the driveway from damage caused by the snow plow However, in good faith to the customer, I willing to come back and put another layer of seal coat over the affected area and touch up where the seal coat has completely worn away Had I been able to reach the customer on the phone, this is what would have been communicated Due to playing phone tag and being unable to connect on the phone, I was never able to communicate this or resolve the issue for the customerIt is my intention to try and make this right, especially due to this being a long time customer, and I am willing to come back and re-seal coat the area of concern I apologize for any frustration and hope we can resolve this issue Thank you,Jason C [redacted] C&C Paving

We just had our driveway paved by C & C. They did a fantastic job. The job was billed according to the price on the estimate, and they even threw in a few more tasks like removing some old rail road ties that bordered our driveway. Also cut back some trees so they could get their equipment everywhere it needed to go. Before the paving job, we had problems with runoff down our old driveway. They fixed that problem so the water goes elsewhere. They even chamfered the edges of the driveway so that it won't crumble and break off. Nice people to deal with. Highly recommended

responded right away regarding these issues. Our records indicate the customer had called the office again multiple time in July and August. After each of those occasions I did call back and left voicemails advising to call back directly on my cell phone to discuss further. I had left messages indicating the best time to reach me is in the evenings, as I am out on job sites all day. Many of the calls were returned to our office number, where I am not at during the day. So unfortunately, due to schedules or timing it seems, we have been continually playing phone tag and have not been able to connect. I am willing to address the issues with the driveway, and have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the customer and have made efforts to return the phone calls. Had we been able to connect via phone, this is what I feel is occurring with the driveway: This driveway is a shared drive lane for four separate homes. There are areas where the seal coat has worn away, most notably at the top of the driveway. It does appear that the cause was due to a snow plow, which was visible by scratch marks from the plow on the driveway. The sealer is meant to be a wear surface. So rather than the plow causing damage to the blacktop, it wears the seal coat layer. Depending on the grade of the driveway, it can cause uneven seal coat wear. I honestly believe this is what occurred on this driveway. I unfortunately cannot warranty the driveway from damage caused by the snow plow. However, in good faith to the customer, I willing to come back and put another layer of seal coat over the affected area and touch up where the seal coat has completely worn away. Had I been able to reach the customer on the phone, this is what would have been communicated. Due to playing phone tag and being unable to connect on the phone, I was never able to communicate this or resolve the issue for the customer. It is my intention to try and make this right, especially due to this being a long time customer, and I am willing to come back and re-seal coat the area of concern. I apologize for any frustration and hope we can resolve this issue. Thank you,Jason C[redacted] C&C Paving

Review: The property was to be graded at a 45 degree angle where they added the addition to the driveway.
This was not done, the property just drops to the additionDesired Settlement: I want the property at a 45 degree angle.
Or I want them to cover the cost to have this done.
