C & A Auto Service

Review: I brought the car in to have the front brakes replaced. On the ride home from having my brakes replaced, I noticed resistance while driving and, when I arrived home, there was a bad smell coming from the brakes. We attempted to call C&A back to have them correct the problem, but at that point, they were closed. We brought the car into another service shop that was open who told us that the left front caliper was stuck in the engaged position. Since we needed the vehicle for work, we had no choice but to pay for the additional repair, which was clearly caused by the faulty workmanship at C&A Auto. Additionally, since the problem was discovered on the ride home, clearly a test drive was not completed to determine the faulty workmanship. When we called C&A Auto back on Monday to attempt to be reimbursed for their faulty brake replacement, they refused to pay. I had no problems whatsoever with my brakes until they were replaced by C&A Auto and the problems started on the ride home from C&A Auto. I believe that the problem was caused by C&A's improper maintenance procedures.Desired Settlement: I would like C&A Auto to reimburse me $235.49 for the work that I had to have done due to their faulty workmanship and lack of quality control procedures.
